The activist stated that the march will be a “mega” rally regardless of what the security threats will be.

Sunday Igboho

Popular activist and Oduduwa Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has stated that the scheduled rally will hold in Lagos on the 3rd of July.

Recall that the All Progressives Congress, APC, UK Chapter, earlier urged Igboho, to shun the planned Lagos rally slated to take place on July 3.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Chairman of APC UK, Dr Phillip Idaewor, urged the Yoruba activist to pipe low and shun any planned protest.

Idaewor stated that there were other ways for the group to channel their agitations.

He also stated that the rally should be suspended to avoid being hijacked by hoodlums to unleash terror on Lagos residents.

However, Igboho, in a statement by his media aide, Onaolapo Omiyale Ademola, revealed that nothing would change the stipulated date for the rally.

He added that the march will be a “mega” rally regardless of what the security threats will be.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has said that it is not aware of the planned rally.

The state police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, during an interview with newsmen, said the command will react to that once it is notified of the rally.

“I am not aware of Sunday Igboho’s planned Lagos rally.

“When the command is aware, the command will react to that. For now, we are not aware of that,
” he said.

TAMPAN noted that both actresses are not members of the association but that they can frustrate them out of the industry if they continue to constitute a nuisance on social media.

Iyabo Ojo, Nkechi Sunday Blessing

Nollywood actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing Sunday have been chastised by the leadership of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria,  TAMPAN, barring directors from working with them following their outbursts against the union on social media.

Both actresses have over time taken to social media to openly condemn the conduct of one of them, Baba Ijesha, who was accused of defiling the foster daughter of comedienne, Princess. Both actresses have clashed with some members of the association who kicked against them openly condemning Baba Ijesha.

Speaking on behalf of member Board of Trustee of the association at a press briefing on Sunday, June 27, veteran actor Prince Jide Kosoko said despite the fact that Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing are not registered members of TAMPAN, the association would not entertain any form of disrespect by both actresses who tried to drag the association in the mud. Kosoko said the association is aware of the derogatory statements made by Iyabo Ojo against the Association and the industry as a whole, noting that they will not take further insults.

TAMPAN

He noted that indeed both actresses are not members of the association but that they can frustrate them out of the industry if they continue to constitute a nuisance on social media.

“The attention of the Board of Trustees of TAMPAN and Elders of the Motion Picture Industry, especially of the Yoruba sector, have been drawn to the malicious damages being done to our sector by some unruly individuals that lack any iota of discipline and seeming to feel to be above the law.

As you may be aware, certain unpleasant things have happened lately that has dragged the name of our association, TAMPAN in particular and the industry in general in the mud, which in totality are against what we stand for as individuals and as a group of professionals.

Lagos state lost 14 health professionals, 12 doctors and two nurses to the ravaging COVID-19 virus.

COVID19

Prof. Akin Abayomi, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health,  has disclosed that the state lost 14 health workers to the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.

Abayomi, in a statement on Sunday, added that the state government was not resting on its oars in the battle against Covid-19, adding that strategies were being implemented to prevent a third wave of the disease in the state.

He was quoted to have said this while receiving a special recognition award by the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award in recognition of the government’s approach in the Covid-19 response and management.

While the state government emerged as the Most Responsive Covid-19 State Government of the year at NHEA 2021, Prof. Akin Abayomi bagged the award for the Most Outstanding Covid-19 State Health Commissioner of the year.

“During the battle against Covid-19; the wave one and the wave two; we lost some our colleagues, we lost 14 health professionals; 12 doctors and two nurses. So, just to remember that there are still people dying around the world from Covid-19.”

Scott, now in his late 60s, fought back tears as he recalled the moment he watched the nurse running from the operating theatre screaming: “I killed him!”

Scott Drummond

Scott Drummond has rarely spoken about the 20 minutes that changed his life forever (Image: Prioritize Your Life)

Scott Drummond, a man who died on the operating table for 20 minutes has vividly described how we was led on an incredible supernatural journey before his soul was apparently returned to his body, according to Daily Star UK.

Drummond was 28 when he dislocated his thumb in a nasty skiing accident.

But a routine operation to get his digit fully functioning again went horribly wrong when a nurse fumbled a surgical tourniquet.

Speaking to Prioritize Your Life, Scott, now in his late 60s, fought back tears as he recalled the moment he watched the nurse running from the operating theatre screaming: “I killed him!”

Previously, Scott had only told his wife and a handful of close friends about the life-changing experience, which he said changed the way he viewed his own existence, shifting his focus from “making money” to being devoted to his family.

Opening up publicly for the first time, he said: “I had the sensation of something going up my arm and across in to my heart, and the next thing I knew I was above my body looking down at the operation.

“I watched every stitch that was put in to my thumb."

Yet despite the strange vantage point, Scott said he was not alone and could sense a “person” next to him.

He now believes that person was god.

After seeing the nurse’s frantic exit and cry for help, Scott said he was suddenly transported to a field full of magnificent flowers and waist-high grass by his faceless guide.

He said: “And I remember so vividly, I could never look back, or I was instructed never to look back again, and the next thing I knew, and it was like a twinkling of an eye, I was standing in a field where the person who was with me was right next to me, but I couldn't see them.

"I looked over to the left and there was some great big tall trees, and I remember they were the most unusual looking trees, they had a long trunk with leaves up on top, and there were lots of them.

"Then to the right of that, which would be still to the left of me, was wildflowers, beautiful wildflowers, and they were up about to my waist.

"And I just remember looking and seeing how beautiful the flowers were, because something that I really enjoy is yard work and gardening and I just remembered the vivid colours were magnificent.

"The next thing I knew the person that had escorted me there was not there any more and I was by myself, but it was so peaceful."

Scott recalled feeling a deep sense of peace, seeing a white cloud pass close by.

Suddenly he said he started watching a video of his life from the day he was born until that moment.

He saw everything that he’d done in his life, good and bad, as if he was being judged for what he had done.

Scott said: “I remember some of it hurt. Some of it made me feel good. But it was what it was.

“I knew I had to do better with my life.”

Things get even more surreal. Scott said his guide telepathically instructed him to get up and walk to the cloud.

Here, a strong arm reached out to him through the cloud, and he was told: “It is not yet your time. You have more things yet to do.”

As he pulled his arm back through he went back into his body.

Scott later admitted that he didn’t want to come back to the living realm as what he had seen and experienced was simply too beautiful and serene.

He was amazed to learn that he had been dead for 20 minutes - and from that moment on he started living very differently.

Daily Post reports that some governors and ministers with other top political officials stormed the palace of the Emir of Kano to formalise plans for the wedding of Yusuf Buhari, son of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The president’s son is getting married to Zara Nasir Ado Bayero, a daughter of the Emir of Bichi

The delegation to the palace was led by the Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa.

They are being hosted by the current Emir of Kano who is the older brother of the prospective bride’s father, Emir of Bichi.

The bride-to-be, Zara, is a 19-year-old graduate of Brighton University, UK. She studied Architecture.

Her father is the fourth child of the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.

According to reports, the wedding is expected to be held between August and September this year.

Evelyn was recently commissioned by the church’s elders to take over as the leader of the church.

According to a report by Daily Post, two hoteliers and guest house operators around the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) at Ikotun-Egbe in Alimosho Local Government of Lagos State, have said that, that it is not yet known if the spouse of T.B Joshua, Evelyn Joshua would able to perform in the deliverance ministry like the founder.

Evelyn was recently commissioned by the church’s elders to take over as the leader of the church.

But, while decrying non patronage since the demise of Joshua, the hoteliers noted that it was the deliverance variant of the gospel that was attracting people from all over the world and had sustained their businesses all those years.

T.B Joshua died on June 5 after overseeing a church programme the previous day and the business owners noted that the only way their business can be revived is the emergence of another healer in the Synagogue

The owners of the various facilities meant for lodging spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Lagos on Sunday, adding that the demise of the SCOAN pastor had subjected them to anxiety.

Mr Alhponus Odioma, the owner of a 240-room facility in the area, said, “I began business in the area since 2007 with a little residential apartment that I acquired but with the upsurge of lodging demands, I had to get a bigger place.

“Like my other colleagues, I hired more personnel alongside constant innovation of services and facilities to retain and attract more patronage especially from foreigners that were coming to worship at SCOAN.

“We are now running at a deficit as we are experiencing lull in business. Before now, the revenue we usually realised in a week was enough to cater for a month’s overhead.

“Right now, we are experiencing lull in our businesses without one knowing when it will end.

“Though the spouse of the founder had been commissioned to take over as the leader of the church, but it is not yet known if she would able to perform in the deliverance ministry like the founder.

“It was the deliverance variant of the gospel that was attracting people from all over the world to the place; that sustained our businesses all those years.

Also, Chief Mathew Ohajiri, another hotelier, said that his facility and business were hanging in the balance as the place had been empty since the demise of Pastor TB Joshua.

Ohajiri expressed hope of the return of the good old days’ business with the raising of another healer in the synagogue, adding that despondency had become their lot for now.

The people of Ndiechi Onuebonyi had on May 18, 2021, discovered that the man they had embraced and accommodated for 11 years as a pastor was actually immersed in fetish and occult practices.

A report by Sun News has shown that across some communities in Ebonyi State, the cases of people alleged to be involved in sorcery seem to be increasing.

In one month, more than eight persons have been publicly disgraced for practising wizardry. One of them was Ezekiel Anyia Nweke, pastor of Yahweh Kingdom Community Worldwide at Ndiechi Onuebonyi village, Obubra Junction in Igbeagu, Izzi Local Government Area of the State.

The people of Ndiechi Onuebonyi had on May 18, 2021, discovered that the man they had embraced and accommodated for 11 years as a pastor was actually immersed in fetish and occult practices.

About three weeks earlier, there was apprehension in Obegu village, Onuebonyi Inyimagu community in neighbouring Abakaliki Local Government Area following the reported invocation and presence of the notorious Okija deity- Ogwugwuakpu-Ubahu from Ihiala, Anambra State, in the area.

The dust raised by these incidents was yet to settle when two other persons were recently nabbed for allegedly using their magical powers to wreak havoc in some communities.

On June 22, the people of Ekeru Inyimagu village, Izzi Unuhu autonomous community in Abakaliki LGA banished a farmer and father of eight with four wives; Linus Ogbaga Nwite for reportedly attempting to kill nine of his kinsmen with mystical powers.

But a distraught Nwite told Saturday Sun in a tearful voice that he was not a wizard, claiming to have been unjustifiably chased away by the people.

One of his wives, Mrs Baby Nwite, also said her husband was accused falsely by the villagers after they had collectively destroyed his cassava plots and dispossessed him of his pieces of land at the swamp area.

Trouble started following the villagers’ decision that any person who owned land in a swamp behind one Boniface Nwibo Ebem’s compound should give it up for collective use.

They agreed that the whole land would be measured equally and leased out for the sum of N2,000 to every interested rice farmer as a means of generating income for the upkeep and development of the area.

The idea was wholesomely accepted by all. But to the people’s consternation, Nwite, whose piece of land was also affected, objected to the plan. He allegedly stealthily went and planted an item suspected to be charm in the said land principally to kill stakeholders whom he perceived as his enemies.

The village youth leader, Chukwuemeka Nwifighe told Saturday Sun that before the incident, Nwite and his cohorts had attempted to destabilise the leadership of the area, which nearly caused serious problem. He said that it took the intervention of the then, acting council Chairman, Ben Nwovu, to save the situation, but not until after the accused person had been directed to provide the villagers with a live cow as a penalty for his unpleasant behaviour.

Nwifighe said the present council boss of Abakaliki LGA and other prominent Izzi people, including their traditional ruler, had waded into the matter and advised Nwite to desist from causing problem in the area whether diabolically and otherwise.

“Still, the man did not heed the warning. Rather, he started bragging to deal with whoever that will come to him over the fine issue, as we were contemplating on how to handle the situation in ensuring that peace reigns.

“Suddenly, the same man caused the death of Mr Chibuike Adiabor, a personnel of the Nigeria Army”, he claimed.

He stated further that on the fateful day, the accused person was caught red handed as he was burying a list containing the names of Adiabor Emmanuel, Chukwuemeka Nwifighe, Ndubuisi Okpuite, Anayo Achi, Ogbonna Nwesor, Ogbonna Adiabor, Okechukwu Mbam, Emeka Nwite and Stephen Ogbaga on the land, apparently to eliminate them mystically.

Nwifighe added that upon his arrest, Nwite was taken to his compound where other fetish items comprising enormous clay pots containing concoctions, metals and other articles were discovered. According to him, it was based on the fact that the villagers could no longer live with such a person that they expelled him from the community.

The village chairman, Sunday Mbam claimed that the accused person was in the habit of making dangerous sacrifices in the area and had been caught on three different occasions before now.

“Before now, a day hardly passes without seeing some sacrifices in our village. When everyone became weary over the problem, we went to Edukwu village square and made traditional declaration, urging both the ancestors and the gods of the land to expose whoever that was behind all the calamities which had been befallen us”, he said.

The chairman also alleged that the suspected wizard was responsible for series of miscarriages which a certain Mrs Precious Nwibo had experienced simply because Nwite had an issue with the woman over firewood.

Said he: “Concerning the swamp area, over one hundred plots belonging to me were ceded to the villagers in good fate knowing fully well that the plan is for our collective purpose.

“But surprisingly, Nwite whose plots are not up to ten, objected to the idea and threatened to kill whoever that stepped foot in the area. Prior to the incident, the same man had already buried charms but as God would have it, while he was making incantation with the list, he was apprehended.”

The village’s Chief Security Officer, Anayo Achi, said that the council chairman had tried his best in ensuring that peace reigned in the area but Nwite never heeded the advice.

“I thank God that, today, the man has been caught in the act; I am equally using the opportunity to advise others who are indulging in fetish activities to refrain, otherwise wherever they are caught, they will be ostracized in the same manner,” he warned.

For the village head, Chukwuma Idenyi, Nwite and his likes were behind all the misfortunes in the community ranging from premature death to economic stagnation.

He stated: “One can see that in spite of the fact that we are close to Abakaliki, we still don’t have light, school, good road and other facilities because we are being caged spiritually.

“In the recent past, we have buried two of our brothers who died mysteriously, Chibuike Ndiabor and Kenneth Nwovu. During interrogation with the man, he admitted to have prepared these various charms: Odieshi, Ekwueme and Nome for himself.

“There is no development in our area because of the activities of Nwite and his likes and based on this revelation, we cannot put up with him any longer.”

Mini-coffins, Odieshi, other charms burnt

In another development, it was a dramatic scene at Onuoji village, Ezza Umuhuali in Ishielu Local Government Area on June 1, 2021 as people of the area collectively and in one voice, expelled a popular native doctor, Monday Nwogbaga, from the community.

Two stakeholders the area, Mathew Nwanga and Peter Nzogbu, told Saturday Sun that the 40-year old self-acclaimed herbalist was preparing charms for criminals that would reportedly make them invincible or not to be pierced by any metal.

Nwogbaga, who hails from Azungele in Izzi Local Government Area of the state, had resided in the house of one Emmanuel Otubo in Onuoji village for about a month with his wife, Ngozi and five children.

According to them, Nwogbaga who earlier claimed that he had cure for all ailments was recently discovered to be preparing some youths with all sorts of charms including the popular “Odieshi”, a potent amulet to prevent both bullets and other metal objects from penetrating the body of whoever that wore it.

They stated that shortly after the man’s arrival in the area, he had visited Nwankwo Market Square where he performed some strange acts in a beer parlour owned by one Egbelegu. They said that it was his suspicious display that attracted the attention of the people.

According to Nwanga and Nzogbu, persons including politicians and mainly youths from Umuhuali and Nkalagu communities were there drinking when he came and removed his footwear and walked round the bush bar. He then went inside where he shook hands with most of the customers, including the chief security of the town, Nzogbu Stanley, whom they said, began to question the man’s identity and the meaning of what he had just done.

It was at that point that they traced him and his activities to his place of abode. Two youths assigned to visit his residence the following morning, May 31, 2021, reported that he was a native doctor.

On further inquiry, they alleged that the act Nwogbaga displayed on that fateful day was because he was hired by another competitor in the beer parlour business to perform some rituals that would attract more customers to the person and possibly cause the liquidation of Egbelegu’s joint.

Disturbed by what they saw, the youths of Onuoji village the next day, invaded his house and brought out all his charms and idols to the main road leading to Eha-Amufu.

Some of the items brought out from his house include, bundles of herbs, charms of iron and wood, two large wooden masks and a plastic doll, seven small coffins (caskets), small clay pots and calabashes painted with all sorts of blood and feathers, pictures and passports of clients, several black powders, and all forms of items.

Upon interrogation, the native doctor said that the small coffins were brought to him by a trader from Onitsha, Anambra State who needed his service for great wealth.

The native doctor admitted that he had prepared the “Odighieshi” charm for one of the villagers whose name he did not disclose while others who had obtained the same charm from him came from the neighbouring villages.

It was further learnt that he had before then been banished from other places like Bondel, Nkalagu in Ishielu L.G.A, his father’s compound at Azungele village in Izzi, adding that it was his banishment from Nkalagu early in May that brought him to Umuhuali community.

His wife, Ngozi, confirmed that her husband’s vocation had continued to bring dishonour to them as a family, adding that she had on many occasions urged him to discontinue such fetish practices.

Before sending the notorious native doctor packing from the community, he was subjected to serious torture and equally forced to lick some strange black powder and drink other concoctions with corrosive odour, among others.

The villagers also penalized his former landlord for bringing such a person to the area. They warned that henceforth, all new tenants must be introduced to the village leaders for proper identity and documentation.

It was not known where Nwogbaga and his family were headed after he had met some demands of the villagers by way of atonement.

It was said that the star apple tree in the family compound fell from its root on Thursday, June 10, 2021, during a downpour, which was accompanied by windstorm.

According to a report by Sun News, the family house of Mr Festus Okoye in Ezioka village, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, turned into a pilgrimage centre, where people from far and near, including spiritualists, troop in their numbers to see what many considered a wonder tree, which they said, stood up on its roots four days after it was felled by wind.

From Sunday, June 13, 2021, when the news hit the social media that the star apple tree in the family compound of Mr Okoye suddenly sprang up on its roots, the family members knew no peace, as people continued to visit both day and night; as they said it had never been heard that a tree got up on its roots after it was felled.

It was said that the star apple tree in the family compound fell from its root on Thursday, June 10, 2021, during a downpour, which was accompanied by windstorm.

According to sources, four days after the tree was felled; precisely on that fateful Sunday, Mr Okoye engaged one Ekene Okeke to cut the branches and the trunk of the said tree into pieces, so that when they dried, they would be used as firewood.

It was said that in the process of cutting the branches and the trunk, the tree suddenly sprang up, and stood on its former position; a development they said, made everybody around to run helter skelter.

When Sunday Sun visited the community, the owner of the compound, Mr Okeke, was said to have travelled out of town; but one woman found in the compound, who gave her name as Juliana, confirmed the development.

While showing our reporter round the scene of the incident, she said: “Look at the star apple tree here. It fell down; so, our oga engaged one Ekene Okeke to cut the branches and the trunk with his cutting machine. Ekene cut off almost all the branches, and in the process of cutting the trunk, the tree sprang up and stood as it were before. When this happened, Ekene dropped his cutting machine and ran away. It was four days later that he came back to collect his cutting machine. Some people that accompanied him made a video clip and circulated on the social media. That was what drew a lot of visitors to this compound. See the cut off branches; see the pieces cut off from the trunk.

“A lot of people came here because of this development. Many pastors came. While leaving, some of them collected sand from the position the tree is standing. Some of them collected sticks and dried leaves of the tree. There was one pastor, who said he came from Calabar. Two Catholic priests came from Abuja to see the tree themselves. There was a native doctor that came here with his full regalia; he said that he came from one community in Delta State; but our oga did not allow him into this compound. As you can see, our gate is locked for the past five days; because, we’re already tired of entertaining visitors.”

When Sunday Sun contacted the traditional ruler of the town, Igwe Col. Alloysius Muoghalu (Rtd), he also confirmed the development, and described it as a wonder that has never happened before in the community throughout its history.

“My brother, this is what we saw recently in our town. Since the video of the incident saturated the online platforms, people had continued to call from different parts of the world, asking me questions; but I only confirmed the development without further explanation,”
 he said.

When asked the spiritual implication of the development, he said: “I’m not a native doctor or a spiritualist to be able to explain the spiritual implication.”

The President General of Isuofia Peoples Union Federated, Jude Chika Okeke, had different view and explanation to the development.

When contacted, he said that what happened was physical, and had no spiritual implication.

According to him, “the incident happened close to my house. I am from Ezioka village, and I know the compound where it happened. The tree fell down from its roots. We’ve checked very well, and found out it had no spiritual connotation. I believe it was pulled down by the heavy weight of its branches. So, when the branches and part of its trunk were cut off, some of the roots, which remained firm on the ground, were able to pull the trunk back in place, as it was before.”

When asked to explain the scientific or natural process that made it possible, he said, “I am not a scientist to do so.”

The fans invaded the pitch, attacked players and officials of the visiting team, as well as journalists, who tried to record the scene with their mobile devices.

Injured Enyimba keeper Sabirou Bassa-Djeri being treated

According to a report by The PUNCH, some really irate fans attacked players of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Enyimba, and injured some of them after the visitors held home side Plateau United to a goalless draw in Jos, in a match-day 29 fixture on Sunday.

It’s not clear, as at the time of filing this report, how many Enyimba players were injured, pictures showed that defender Danladi Timothy and goalkeeper Sabirou Bassa-Djeri sustained wounds following the attack.

According to an eyewitness account, the fans invaded the pitch, attacked players and officials of the visiting team, as well as journalists, who tried to record the scene with their mobile devices.

Pictures and videos made available to our correspondent showed players of the eight-time NPFL champions injured, with some of them already treated.

Christian Eriksen, a Denmark football star collapsed on the pitch in Saturday’s Euro 2020 game against Finland in Copenhagen, causing the suspension of the match in the first half.

Television pictures showed Danish players and officials in tears as medical stuff tried to revive the Inter Milan player, who suddenly collapsed near the touchline.

Before the incident, Denmark had started with Jonas Wind up front as they aim for a winning start to Euro 2020 in Saturday’s Group B game with underdogs Finland.

There are few surprises in coach Kasper Hjulmand’s selection, with Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite and RB Leipzig’s Yussuf Poulsen on the wings backing up the 22-year-old Wind, an FC Copenhagen striker who is playing at his home ground against the Finns.

Nice forward Kasper Dolberg was left on the bench, as has promising Bologna winger Andreas Skov Olsen.

The Parken Stadium in the Danish capital, which hosts 16,000 fans — about 45 percent of capacity, also saw playmaker Christian Eriksen pulling the strings behind Wind before collapsing.

A full-strength line-up also includes Thomas Delaney and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in midfield in front of a well-drilled defence featuring Champions League winner Andreas Christensen and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Teemu Pukki starts for the Finns despite having only played a few minutes since injuring his ankle at the end of the English season with Norwich City.

The 31-year-old, who has scored 30 goals for his country, had said on Friday that he felt ready to play in Finland’s first ever match in a major international tournament.

Pukki is only two goals behind Finland’s all-time highest goalscorer Jari Litmanen, who is widely considered the country’s greatest ever footballer.

Captain Tim Sparv also took the field after recovering from a knee injury that had kept the midfielder out of action since the end of March.

He said this while delivering an address to mark 2021 democracy day and second-year anniversary of his government.

The governor said a lot had been achieved not only in the infrastructural development of the state but in the area of securing the people from Boko Haram attack.

He said, “From records, we have experienced instances when insurgents offered as low as between 5,000 and 10,000 Naira to recruit some spies and smugglers of weapons.

“We needed to ensure that our good citizens had the support they needed, and they were not exposed to potential attractions for the incentives of insurgents.

“There was the risk that insurgents could, after making IDPs socially and economically vulnerable, also explore that vulnerability by offering food and cash incentives to recruit fighters who could even serve as their spies in communities.”

On his achievements, the governor said, “With shared commitments and with the strong goodwill, support and prayers from you, the people of Borno State, we are delivering 556 capital projects with 70% of the total already completed while 30 per cent are at various completion levels.

“Our projects, done with your support, include 194 capital projects on education, which encompass rehabilitation, completion, and fresh construction of Mega-size government technical colleges and primary schools in different communities. We have 63 capital projects on governance, and another 63 capital projects on roads, transport, rural and urban development. 59 capital projects are being delivered on water and environment; while on health, we are delivering 58 capital projects that include establishment of 74 primary healthcare centres across local government areas, rehabilitation of 8 General and specialist hospitals in MMC, Biu, Damboa, Monguno and Magumeri.”
