A suspected kidnapper has been apprehended by men of the Delta State Police Command.

After he was arrested, a vehicle belonging to an abducted man in Ozubulu,  Anambra was recovered.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, September 21, said the suspect, Onyeka Ozoh, was arrested at his hideout in Issele-uku based on credible intelligence.

According to the PPRO, the suspect claimed he bought the car at the cost of N1.5m.

"On the 17/9/2022 at about 1100hours, the DPO Issel-uku Division, acting on credible intelligence, that a suspected kidnapper is hibernating somewhere in Issel-uku, detailed operatives to the said hideout and arrested one Onyeka Ozoh ‘m’ aged 30yrs of Ogbe-ofu quarters Issel-uku and recovered a red colour Toyota Camry without registration number,"

"The suspect claimed that he bought the vehicle at Onitsha at the cost of one Million, five hundred thousand naira (#1,500,000) and that all original documents were with the previous owner

"However, investigations later revealed that the vehicle belongs to one man (name withheld) who was kidnapped on 20/8/2022 at Ozubulu in Anambra State, released after a ransom was paid and the vehicle taken from him. Suspect will be transferred to Anambra Police Command for further investigation."

Panic As Armed Militia Kill 11, Injure Others In Southern Kaduna

Eleven persons have been killed and others severely injured as suspected Fulani militia, on Sunday evening stormed Apiye Jim village, in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna state.

The attackers, according to a source in the village, stormed the area while it was raining and divided themselves into groups and targeted houses.

According to the source, “Many people are missing as a result of the attack. It is impossible to ascertain the number of those injured and those killed, but so far, l have counted 11 dead bodies in different locations this morning.”

The source told DAILY POST that the attackers executed their operations in about 10 minutes and left while it was raining heavily in the evening.

He called on the Federal and Kaduna State governments rise to the occasion and save the people from total elimination in the hands of the suspected Fulani militia.

A phone call and text put to the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige on the incident could not be responded to as of the time of filing this report.

 The matter was reported to the Police at Alausa Division, who moved into action and later arrested two suspects.

In what will come across as a rather startling development, night security men attached to the popular Shoprite at City Mall, Alausa area of Ikeja, Lagos, may have been fooled after some thieves removed the roof of the mall, gained entrance, looted some items and escaped.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 12th August, 2021, when the management of the mall came to work only to discover that some items were missing before they realised that the roof was removed at night.

When the operation was going on, the night guards were awake but did not know when the roof was removed. So the thieves gained entrance into the mall, stole some items including Hennessey, Lu-tech machine, perfumes among other things and escaped.

The matter was reported to the Police at Alausa Division, who moved into action and later arrested two suspects, namely Peace Kelvin, 28 and Sulaimon Taiwo, 26 and detained at the Station for interrogation.

After interrogation, the Police found them culpable and subsequently charged them for conspiracy, burglary and stealing.

They pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector Rachael Williams, asked the Court to give a date for trial since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove they actually committed the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. O.D. Njoku, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum while the matter was adjourned to 16th September, 2021, for mention.

However, the defendants were remanded in Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.

Six suspected armed robbers have been arrested by Operatives of the Niger State Police Command and three firearms were recovered from them.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, August 28, in Minna, said police officers rescued one of the suspects from an angry mob in Suleja.

Abiodun said on August 21, at about 21:40 hours, police operatives attached to Tudun-Wada Division, while on patrol along Tunga/Chanchaga Road arrested four suspects, Adamu Mamman a.k.a Gambo, 20, Ukasha Umar, 20, Shamsu Garba,21, Naziru Mohammed, 20, allof Bosso area of Minna.

The suspects were arrested at the Farm-centre area of Chanchaga LGA while robbing a female victim with two knives in a tricycle.

"The victim attempted to board a tricycle (keke-napep) from Tunga to Chanchaga, while the suspects who disguised themselves as passengers in the tricycle with Reg. no. MNA 455 VM suddenly alighted with two knives, attacked and robbed the victim of her purse containing about fifty-five thousand naira and her infinix hot 5 handset valued about forty-one thousand naira." the PPRO stated.

"The said victim immediately raised alarm which alerted the police patrol team, while the hoodlums quickly zoomed off in their tricycle after robbing her, but after a hot chase by the patrol team, the suspects were apprehended

"During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime while the two knives and the tricycle used in committing the crime were recovered in their possession. Case is under investigation and the suspects will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded,"

Similarly, on 23/08/2021 at about 2130hrs, acting on a credible information, Police operatives attached to 'A' Division Suleja arrested two suspects, Abdul Yahaya, 29, Mustapha Abubakar, 28, both of Sabo Angwan-Kwamba, Suleja.

The spokesman said Abdul was arrested at an estate in Kwamba, Suleja where he attempted to snatch a handset from a victim and alarm was raised which attracted mob action. The Police patrol team quickly mobilized to the scene, rescued and arrested him from the mob who had inflicted injury on the suspect.

During investigation, the Police later conducted a search at the suspect's residence and the following items were recovered; one locally fabricated pistol with an empty cartridge, one locally fabricated gun, one dane gun, four knives, three cutlasses, one scissors, one camera, and one security light.

Other items recovered are: two Atm cards, one hammer, one stick, one motorcycle key, two black trousers and a black t-shirt, one black face cap, and four wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

"Mustapha was later arrested when he attempted to evacuate some exhibits from one Hamza Hussaini residence who is also a member of the robbery gang, but presently at large. The suspects were equally reported to have robbed some victims at Gabodna market and made away with three mobile phones, one Atm card, and a sum amount of money," DSP Wasiu said.

Effort is ongoing to apprehend the said Hamza while the two suspects arrested will be prosecuted immediately the investigation is concluded, he added.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, has urged members of the public to continue to support the police with adequate information for a better and more secured environment.

Two kids who were stolen by their housemaid in Lagos state on 23 August 2021, have been rescued by the Edo state police command in Benin.

The operatives also arrested three suspects, Precious Mmaduike ‘F’ (21), Jane Osas ‘F’ (35) and John Obasu (45), in connection with the theft of the children.

The stolen kids, David Ibe ‘M’ (4 years) and Chizaram Ibe ‘F’ (2 years) were children of Mr. Phenasus Ibe, of Balogun Kuku Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos State.

According to a statement by the spokesman of the Command, SP Kontongs Bello, the theft of the children was executed by Ibe’s housemaid, Precious Mmaduike.

It was gathered that on the fateful day, at about 8.45 am, mother of the children, gave them N500, to buy biscuit outside the compound in Lagos, in company of the housemaid.

But the children and the housemaid did not return.

All efforts in search of the children and the housemaid proved abortive, as her phone was switched off.

“That was when the father immediately reported the situation to Aguda Police Station, Lagos, where it was discovered that the last location of the housemaid before she switched off her mobile was in Benin city, Edo state.

“The complainant decided to come to the police in Edo state for assistance.

“Men of the Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime Unit of Edo State Police Command immediately commenced investigation.

“With the aid of the information gathered from the origin of the abduction and field assets, the abducted children were rescued on 26/08/2021, at about 1730hrs by the operatives of the Edo State Police Command, Benin City, in a very remote area at Upper Ekewan Road, Benin City with the housemaid and a woman she came to visit with the children."

The housemaid who met the woman on the internet claimed that, the two children belonged to her and they came to Benin city for visit.

But unknown to the woman, the children are not for her.

The woman had bought gifts for the children, who are currently with the police,” the statement said.

It was however gathered that while the police operatives were on their way to the State Command in Benin city with the rescued children, the suspects and two other children found in the house, the husband of the woman, one Joseph Obaze, raised alarm of kidnapping against the police operatives.

The alarm attracted a group of “unknown vigilante” members who blocked the road.

Even after the Police operatives identified themselves, the “unknown vigilante” group reportedly went ahead to attack the police operatives with all kinds of weapons, causing bodily injuries to some policemen.

The hoodlums later escaped before police reinforcement could arrive at the scene.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Philip Aliyu Ogbadu, assured that efforts are in place to apprehend the fleeing vigilante leader and his gang members that attacked the police operatives

He enjoined all law abiding members of the public to go about their lawful businesses, noting that the Command will not allow miscreants in the name of vigilante group to take over the public space.

Ogbadu enjoined the public to continue to provide useful information to the police about criminals and their activities, to help them achieve the mandate of protecting lives and properties.

A drug traffcker, Ibeh Kenneth Ejike has been arrested by The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja for ingesting 87 wraps of cocaine.

A statement issued by the Director, Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi said the 41-year-old suspect who was arrested on Wednesday, 25th August 2021, upon his arrival on board an Ethiopian Airline flight 911 from Kigali via Addis Ababa was taken in for secondary check during which he tested positive to ingestion of an illicit substance.

Babafemi said the suspect who imports clothes for sale and hails from Owerrizikeala village in Orumba Local Government Area of Anambra State. excreted 87 pellets of cocaine weighing 1.884 kilograms.

NDLEA said it also arrested a Lagos based drug dealer, Eze Celestine Okorie, following the interception of 4.15kilograms of methamphetamine consignment going to London, the United Kingdom at the NAHCO export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, on 13th August.

The drug was concealed in tins of tomato branded ‘sunripe’ and packaged for the driver of a freight forwarding company to deliver at the airport export shed for onward movement to the UK.

Babafemi said although the freight company’s driver was initially arrested, follow up investigations and subsequent sting operations led to the arrest of the kingpin behind the consignment, Eze Celestine Okorie, at his Coker, Surulere, Lagos home on Wednesday 25th August 2021. He hails from Isu village in Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State.

 The children were left to their fates in hostage for almost three months, where they were made to undergo various inhuman treatments, such as hunger, sicknesses, beatings among others, despite the ransoms paid by their parents.

Students and staff of Salihu Islamic school, Tegina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State arrived Minna, the State capital who were abducted by bandits have opened up on their unfortunate ordeal.

The children were left to their fates in hostage for almost three months, where they were made to undergo various inhuman treatments, such as hunger, sicknesses, beatings among others, despite the ransoms paid by their parents.

This is also as the state government which claimed it knows where they were kept maintained its no payment of ransom posture, until two days ago.

Narrating some of their ordeals, one of the victims, Musa claimed that the day they were kidnapped, they trekked for hours without food or water to drink.

“We trekked for days without food and water. We only rested a little when the bandits noticed that we were tired and afterward continued. And it was so difficult since we had to carry the little ones on the back as they could no longer walk because they were weak and tired before we finally got to the hideouts of the bandits in the forest.”

According to them, the bandits fed them with Indomie and some times beans on their hands, which was never enough to satisfy any of them.

”Since we got kidnapped, we never took our bath. We were fed with small amount of Indomie or beans on our hands. Some days, we stayed hungry as there was nothing to eat. We were kept together in one small room in the forest. Some times, we were beaten if we try to complain of hunger or ask questions. We thank God we are alive and reunited with our families.”

Some of the parents appeared very happy with tears of joy appreciated God for the safe release of their children.

Some who spoke to DAILY POST said they thank God for the safe return of their children, “We never prayed that this should happen again or to any parent. It was a painful and traumatic experience for all of us.”

One of the parents, name withheld described the 89 days his children stayed with the bandits as the most agonizing period of his life, especially not knowing if their children were alive or dead.

“Every day we wake up then was with pain. Some of us, parents as a result of this issue became hypertensive. But we thank God that the ramsons kept our children alive until they were rescued. Even though, we sold our valuables, we are happy our children returned back home alive.”

The Proprietor of Islamic school, Mallam Idris Umar and father of a deceased abducted kid said though, he was happy with the safe return of the pupils, he is pained by the inability to give his son a proper burial.

The deceased victim whose name was withheld is said to be between 8 and 9 years of age..

Umar whose five children were among the 91 children kidnapped told journalists in Minna, ” Though, I see the death of my child as the will of God, I would have been more fulfilled if the child had died at home. This would have given me the opportunity to give him a befitting burial. I thank Allah that the other three are alive and also other children that were kidnapped. Their continued stay with the Bandits was a traumatic experience for all of us”

”But despite all that happened, today everyone is happy over the release of the entire children. We thank God that all our pains and sufferings are over.”

Sharing a similar emotion, the Head Teacher of the Islamiya, Alhassan Ahmed expressed pains as well as joy over the release of the children, after a long stay in the hands of the bandits.

Though, he stated that ransoms were paid to secure the freedom of the abductees, parents have no regrets for whatever amount they paid to the bandits that assisted towards the safe release of their children alive.

”Except for the child that we lost, we thank Allah that all of them returned alive and well.”

However, Ahmed was tactical on the issue of ramsons paid saying, “on the issue of ransoms payment, I meant the ones gathered by the parents, it doesn’t doesn’t mean the state government.”

 The lawmaker explained that although the government didn’t pay a dime to the abductors, the distraught parents however took up the initiative of selling their possessions to secure the release of their children.

Senator Mohammed Musa, the lawmaker representing Niger East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has disclosed that no dime was paid as ransom by the Niger state government to secure the release of abducted Islammiya students.

Though some news platforms reported that over N60m and new motorcycles were given as ransom to the bandits, Senator Musa in an interview on Channels Television noted that the Niger State Government has repeatedly said it would never pay ransom to the bandits.

He said;

“The Niger State Government has made it very categorically clear and one of the policies of the state government His Excellency initiated, there is no payment of ransom for whatever reasons.

“I so much agree with him (Governor Abubakar Bello) because the more you give the ransom, the more the trade will continue because they have turned it into a trade. When they approached the government asking for ransom, the government felt it cannot go against its policy.”

The lawmaker explained that although the government didn’t pay a dime to the abductors, the distraught parents however took up the initiative of selling their possessions to secure the release of their children.

He also disclosed that though the Niger state government got wind of the information when 13 of the kidnapped children escaped from their abductors, the state government was however not aware that some parents parted with some sums to the bandits.

Senator Musa further revealed that one of the parents that took the money to the bandits, was held back alongside the children.

He said;

“After they escaped, these people opened a new request. They now asked for more of the ransom and the state government insisted that they are not going to pay a kobo.

“These people now complained that they are feeding these children, they have spent so much of their money but the policy of the government is that no ransom will be given.

“They pleaded, the parents pleaded. I don’t know the number of calls Mr Governor was receiving from these parents but I have received so many calls appealing that we should do something about it.”

Lifeless Body Of Baby Boy Dumped Inside Dustbin In Bayelsa

The corpse of a newborn baby boy was discovered at a public dustbin in Okaka community, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital on Saturday morning.

It gathered that the abandoned corpse of the baby was discovered by residents of the area who came out early to dump refuse collected from their homes during the monthly sanitation in the state.

At the time of visit, women were seen laying curses on the unknown mother of the deceased boy.

According to a mother, madam Jane Lagos, “It will not be well with this woman who abandoned this innocent child here to suffer and die under the cold of the night,” I was at home this morning when I heard people talking about the ugly incident, so I immediately ran down to witness it, behold I saw the baby.

“As a mother, it is devastating for a woman to carry a baby in her womb and after 9 months of the pains of labour, abandoned the child this way to die. We are talking about the life of a human being here ; this is painful for a woman to do this.”

The President of Yenagoa Federated Youth council, Mr. Ineife Perekosifa, attributed the cause of incident to poor parenting and lack of care by guardians.

He said, “Our campaign as a body has always been strong against teenage pregnancy, which could be one of the possible causes of this incident.

“Our campaign will not stop until we reduce the high rate of teenage pregnancy and other effects of it.

I’m concerned because this is a potential that has been wasted this morning, and we pray that the government of the day will put in place the needed apparatus to curb this menace that has affected the state as a whole."

This is the third in just a few weeks It started in Okutukutu community, then later in Opolo and now it’s here in Okaka; a wrong precedent that is now becoming a norm, and it’s something we won’t take likely. We will consult with stakeholders and communicate to the masses our next action.

As at 9 am, the police and officers of Ekeki division were seen around the area maintaining peace, but the corpse was still at the site despite several efforts by concerned residents.

Men of the state sanitation authorities and other health workers visited the site severally and left without evacuating the corpse.

Speed Darlington said his family realized the man married his sister so that he can get a chance to travel abroad so they made it impossible for him to use his sister in that way.

Speedy said the man then lured his sister back to Nigeria and beat her up for not ''bringing him to America.''

Speed Darlington said the man is now on the run and asked for help in tracking him down.

Details have emerged how a jilted lover hired armed robbers to kill her ex lover.
 
Comedian, Gabriel Uzoma, reportedly escaped assassination attempt after his jilted lover, Victory Kelechi Joseph came for his life.
 
The armed robbers stormed his house in Lagos in military uniforms to kill him.
 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Uwagboe Street, Ipaja area of Lagos, where Uzoma resides with his friends.
 
According to the residents, Uzoma narrowly escaped the onslaught because he did not return home that day but his friends, found in his house identified as Emmanuel Eldon and Austine Alfred, were brutally attacked at gun point.
 
The armed men reportedly invaded the house to attack Uzoma but when they did not find him, they damaged the television, carted away two laptops, Canon camera including money belonging to Uzoma to the tune of N555, 000 and escaped.
 
After the robbery operation, Victory Kelechi Joseph was said to have been given N20,000 as compensation for her own share of the loot.
 
The incident was reported to the Police at Ipaja Division, who trailed the 20-year Victory Kelechi to her hideout. She was arrested and detained at the Police Station for interrogation.
 
The victim, Gabriel Uzoma, who was still in shock, told P.M.EXPRESS that Kelechi was his girlfriend but later left for sometime before she returned and pleaded to live with him because she did not want to live with her parents and her sister.
 
He said he told her that it was no longer possible because he was living with his friends and she also pleaded with him to engage her in her comedy show to play a role, which he obliged her.
 
However, on the day they agreed to go to the hotel in Badaro area of the State, where the comedy show will take place, Kelechi was late and her role was given to another person to perform, which led to serious disagreement between them.
 
According to Gabriel Uzoma, during interrogation, Kelechi admitted she engaged four armed men in uniform and only knew one of them, the remaining three were not known to her. She also admitted after the operation that she was given N20,000 as compensation.
 
She also alleged that Gabriel Uzoma took advantage of her by attempting to sleep with her, which made her to arrange the suspects now at large to attack him.
 
The lady, Kelechi, reportedly told the Police that Uzoma wanted to rape her when he invited her to the hotel for the show, which Uzoma denied and said she had been his lover, with whom he had done many things together and the issue of raping her was not in the picture.
 
When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent visited Ipaja Police Station, the DPO was said to have gone on routine security monitoring in the area.
 
However, Police sources said the matter has been transferred to the SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation and both parties were referred to Panti by the DPO over the matter, which was slated to further date for investigation.

 The Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated that Ataga’s family alleged that one of the arraigned suspected accomplices, Babalola Disu, carried out the murder.

According to a report by The PUNCH, Mike Ozekhome, counsel for the family of the late Super TV Chief Executive Officer, Usifo Ataga, has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali, to re-investigate the circumstances surrounding Ataga’s death at a service apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

Ozekhome said investigation into Ataga’s death was not professionally handled, adding that the police, without obtaining legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, arraigned the prime suspect, Chidinma Ojukwu, and other suspected accomplices at a chief magistrate’s court, which had no jurisdiction over murder cases.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated that Ataga’s family alleged that one of the arraigned suspected accomplices, Babalola Disu, carried out the murder.

“The family premised its suspicion on information it had to the effect that Disu’s short rental apartment was directly opposite the apartment where Ataga was killed.

“The family narrated how the said Disu had asked that the carpenter of the Airbnb short service apartment should be called to fix his door, only for the carpenter to be told that it was actually Ataga’s door that was broken.

“The family said it also suspects the said Disu for having a hand in Ataga’s murder because of the manner in which he disappeared from the service apartment and wondered why he was charged for mere obstruction and failure to report a crime, thus being granted bail in the ridiculous sum of N1m only.

“Why did Disu obstruct police investigation and over what crime? How did he do so? What crime did Disu fail to report to the police for which he was now charged? Was it the murder case? And if so, how was he connected to it and under what circumstances did he know about it? The Ataga family needs answers,” the petition said.

Ozekhome stated that the family demanded re-investigation of the entire murder case of their breadwinner, adding that the findings should be handed over to the Lagos State DPP to formally re-arraign Chidinma and other suspected accomplices who had already been charged before the chief magistrate’s court.

“These are the persons of Babalola Disu; Ojukwu – Chidinma’s alleged father or sugar daddy; Jessica Egbochi; Abayomi Olutayo; and, Ifeoluwa Olowu; and any other person(s) whom the police investigation may still throw up as having been linked to Ataga’s cold-blooded murder,” the petition added.

 The Nigerians pleaded guilty on the eve of trial to federal charges related to schemes to defraud financial institutions.

Two Nigerian nationals have pleaded guilty to duping postal customers of $565,000 in Maryland, United States.

According to a statement on Wednesday by the Federal Court in Maryland, Johnson Ogunlana, 25, of Maryland; and Samson Oguntuyi, 29, of Georgia, “pleaded guilty on the eve of trial to federal charges related to schemes to defraud financial institutions, retail establishments and other business victims, often using the stolen personal information of individual victims”.

The statement was titled, ‘Two Nigerian Nationals Plead Guilty in Federal Court in Maryland for Bank and Mail Fraud Conspiracy and Related Charges Just Prior to Trial’.

The statement noted that the guilty pleas were announced by Acting United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Jonathan Lenzner; Special Agent in Charge Imari Niles of the US Postal Service, Office of Inspector General; and Postal Inspector in Charge Daniel A. Adame of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service – Washington Division.

According to their plea agreements, Ogunlana was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Brooklyn, Maryland.

“Ogunlana and Oguntuyi acknowledged that between July 25, 2016 and February 5, 2019, they conspired together and with others to steal bank checks and credit and debit cards from the mail, open fraudulent business banking accounts using the names of victim businesses and the stolen identities of victim postal customers to negotiate the stolen checks by depositing them into the fraudulent bank accounts, and then conduct transactions with stolen payment cards and with money derived from the stolen checks,” the statement partly read.

“Ogunlana and others used stolen payment cards issued to identity theft victims to pay fees to register some of the fraudulent businesses. Ogunlana also stole checks payable to victim businesses, whose mail was serviced out of the USPS facility where Ogunlana worked, by intercepting their mail.

“Oguntuyi and Ogunlana then endorsed some of the checks by forging the signatures of identity theft victims and deposited the checks into the fraudulent business bank accounts the conspirators opened in the names of the victim businesses.

“The conspirators then withdrew the money from the accounts through cash withdrawals, debit card purchases and cashback transactions at retail merchants, wire transfers, and by writing checks drawn on the accounts.

“As detailed in their plea agreements, at least $565,000 was stolen from two victim businesses and at least eight postal customers were victims of identity theft,” it added.

Both suspects each face a maximum sentence of 30 years in federal prison for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and mail fraud. Oguntuyi also faces a maximum of 30 years for bank fraud. Ogunlana faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison for access device fraud and a maximum of five years in federal prison for theft of mail by a postal employee. Both defendants face a mandatory sentence of two years, consecutive to any other sentence imposed, for aggravated identity theft.

A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. U.S. District Judge Catherine Blake has not yet scheduled sentencing for the defendants.

He was arrested after an undercover cop caught him allegedly spreading hateful literature and discussing terrorist plans.

The police have arrested a teenager for allegedly plotting to murder his Asian friend because he slept with three ‘white girls’, which he described as a violation of nature.

Matthew Cronjager, who is said to be a ‘racist, antisemitic and Islamaphobic’ teenager was arrested on December 29, 2020 after an undercover cop caught him allegedly spreading hateful literature and discussing terrorist plans.

The teenager from Essex in UK, reportedly used the messaging platforms Telegram and Theema to exchange messages with other white nationalists.

While allegedly discussing using a 3D printer to create guns last November, Cronjager supposedly told the undercover officer;

‘I’ve found someone I want to execute.

‘I know it’s an overall target and he’s a sand n***** that f***** a white girl. In fact I think three of them. They’re like cockroaches.

‘Do you know what’s weird. I was friends with him for ages and I can just kill him like that. I have no hang ups about doing it. He crossed the line.’

The undercover cop then asked whether the girls had been raped and Cronjager is accused of saying;

‘Nope, but it’s a violation of nature.

‘We’re not supposed to mix race … It’s not rape by legal definition but it’s kind of like rape if that makes sense. Violation at least.’

Cronjager is also accused of planning to build an underground bunker to house dangerous weapons for a ‘white revolution’. He reportedly discussed this in a group chat which supposedly believed that ‘pure whiteness was preferable’ in a society but segregation would be fine if they ‘had to compromise’.

The court also heard that after George Floyd was murdered by a police officer in the US, Cronjager allegedly said;

‘All this stuff about “I can’t breeefff” is complete s-t’. He then went on to talk about ‘anti-white racism’.

The court heard Conjager bought into ‘various racist tropes’, such as blaming Jewish people for both world wars and the conflict in the Middle East.

Prosecutor Alistair Richardson said;

‘As of 2019-20 (Conjager) held radical, extreme right-wing beliefs.

‘To use his own word, “fascist” beliefs. He wanted to bring about a change of government by violence.

‘He hated people of different colour skin, he hated Jews, he hated Muslims, he hated people of different sexual orientation to his own.

‘He hated Asians who had sexual intercourse with white people.’

Cronjager was accused of allegedly using a 3D printer to draw up plans for a storage bunker to keep firearms and ammunition. ‘I really just want a glock or something ,’ he wrote in one message.

Mr Richardson concluded by saying;

‘You can see the defendant not just wanting a firearm, but also ammunition for it. In other words, he wanted to be able to use that firearm.’

In April 2019, he downloaded information about explosives, home-made silencers and firearms, jurors were told. He is also alleged to have saved a video on his phone of the Christchurch terror atrocity in New Zealand in which 51 people were killed and 40 injured.

Mr Cronjager however denied engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorist acts between 31 October and 19 December. He has pleaded not guilty to disseminating terrorist publications through "a library" on the encrypted messaging app Telegram.

Gunman Shot Dead After Killing Two Police Officers Near French Embassy In Tanzania

A trigger-happy man who went on a shooting spree in a highly guarded area housing several foreign missions including the French embassy has killed two police officers on Wednesday, August 25, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The gunman believed to be of Somali origin was however gunned down outside the French Embassy gate by security officers.

Videos posted on social media show the trigger happy man, who was carrying two assault rifles, opening fire indiscriminately along Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road which is occupied by foreign missions such as the French Embassy, Japanese Embassy, Kenyan embassy, Russian embassy and is a close proximity to financial institutions.

Tanzania’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Simon Sirro, who confirmed the incident said they are following on the incident to establish the identity of the attacker and the motive.

"As you can see in that circulating short video clips on social media but our police officers managed to shoot him down, he was holding an SMG,” he said.

A report on Tanzanian local daily The Citizen quoted an eye witness saying that the man arrived at a bank headquarters and went straight to a police shed which had two policemen and shot them dead at point blank before taking their weapons.

Motorists along the usually calm Oyesterbay/Upanga area were forced to abandon their cars as they ran for dear lives.

Before coming down under a hail of bullets the man who was wearing a checked shirt and khaki trousers was seen punching in the air and chest thumping.

The motive of the attack remains unclear.

According to a report by The PUNCH, some suspected cultists have hacked to death a 17-year-old boy, Quadri Olalekan, in the Oluguna area of Osogbo, Osun State.

According to a roadside trader, who did not want to be identified, the gang tracked Olalekan to the area and attacked him, as he pleaded for help.

“He was stabbed by a group of six boys. They are suspected to be cultists. We all fled when he was attacked,” he added.

A spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, said the command had identified those behind the killing.

She said, “Quadri Olalekan was killed in the Oluguna area, Osogbo, by one Afeez, also known as ‘Terror’ and his gang, suspected to be Eiye Confraternity members. The perpetrators will be brought to book.”

The Secretary of Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission, Barr. Mohammed Abubakar Opu, has been abducted by bandits.

It was learnt that the incident occurred on Tuesday night when the assailants invaded the residence of the victim at Bakin Rijiya village, along Lafia-Shendam road in the state.

The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramham Nansel confirmed the development in a statement.

According to the PPRO, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi has led a detachment of Police personnel to the area to ensure that the victim is rescued unhurt.

The Commissioner called on residents to help the security operatives by making relevant information available.

The statement reads, “On 25/8/2021 at about 0145hrs, a complaint was lodged at C Division, Lafia that, on 24/8/2021 at about 2345hrs, unknown gunmen numbering about five, abducted one Barr. Mohammed Abubakar Opu ( The Secretary of Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission) in his residence located at Bakin rijiya village, along Lafia-Shendam road, Nasarawa State.

“On receipt of the complaints, the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi immediately led a detachment of Police personnel comprising of personnel of the Anti Kidnapping unit, Police Mobile Force, Counter Terrorism Unit and other tactical units of the Command to the scene.

“Consequently, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of State Criminal Investigation Department was also directed to move to the scene and conduct a comprehensive investigation inorder to unveil the faces of those responsible for the commission of the despicable act, rescue the victim and arrest the perpetrators.

“The Commissioner of Police is hereby calling on anyone with useful information that will aid the investigation to call the following phone numbers: 08063899824, 08140237449, 08035429706, 08032875187 and 08037461715”.
