According to WhiteMoney, Maria sees him as a competition so she might evict him.

Whitemoney

Big Brother Naija housemate, Whitemoney has stated that him and Queen might be evicted by Maria, who is the current head of the house on Sunday.

Biggie gave Maria a secret task on Monday to act as though she has the power to evict two housemates from the show on Sunday.

Biggie, in a diary session with Maria, who won the head of house challenge on Monday, said that there would be no evictions this week.

Biggie told Maria to keep the information secret.

Speaking on Wednesday, Whitemoney said Maria will evict Queen and maybe him on Sunday.

He said, “For the female housemate, I think she will evict Queen but for the males I am not sure but it might be me.

“She has a personality clash with Queen, they don’t get along. I feel she might not want to have Queen cause she triggers her anger but I don’t know the criteria she will use.

“I also feel she will eliminate me because she thinks I am her competition. She and Pere already had a meeting about the kitchen monopoly. She might send me out because I am her competition and if she does I will not blame her. This is a game.”

Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote has been accused of drugging and raping the wife of a businessman.

The businessman Kevin Ajenifuja made the claim at a court in the United States, according to a report by PeoplesGazette.

In a lawsuit filed by the businessman on August 2, 2019, Ajenifuja claimed that he had developed the technique and process of a sector exchange-traded funds for Africa in June 2004, after over 10 years of research.

He accused Dangote of allegedly making arrangements on how his 22-weeks pregnant wife was drugged and how young men slept with her with the intention of stealing his trade secret.

The US based businessman said Africa’s richest man in collaboration with some employees of the World Bank Group in the 8th of February, 2020, invited his ex wife to a meeting at a Catholic mission in Washington, D.C., area where she was allegedly given illicit drugs including opioid.

He said is wife subsequently engaged in extramarital affairs with young men near Washington, and that was subsequently used to blackmail her into turning against her husband until she handed over his trade secrets to Dangote.

He stated that he only found out about the theft trade secrets in December 2016 after several investigations.

The plaintiff claimed that Aliko Dangote resigned as the President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 2014, a year before the expiration of his term, “to conceal his involvement”.

Recall that Dangote had in 2014 announced his resignation during the 53rd annual meeting of the NSE held in Lagos, taking everyone by surprise.

“On information and belief Defendant Dangote resigned to conceal his involvement in what happened to Plaintiff and Anita Koepcke,” Mr Ajenifuja said in court documents.

Africa’s richest man had cited the need to have more time for the execution of his companies’ expansion across Africa as the basis for his resignation.

Ajenifuja said it was around December 20, 2014, that he searched for the missing copies of the trade secrets and suspected that they had been stolen by Dangote via Anita.

He is demanding $1 billion as the least compensatory damages against MlDangote and others for the alleged theft of his trade secrets.

In their separate motions, the world Bank group sought to dismiss the case on the grounds that it was immune from suit.

Messrs Dangote sought for dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction.

The US court rejected Mr Ajenifuja’s lawsuit because it was statute barred.

A spokesman for Dangote declined comments about the lawsuit when reached on Wednesday afternoon.

The man saved the zoo keeper after alligator attack
The man saved the zoo keeper after alligator attack

A visitor at a zoo has saved the life of a zoo handler after an alligator clamped down on her arm.

The attack unfolded at the Scales & Tails reptile center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday, August 14.

A Utah reptile center employee was doing a presentation for a group that were there to celebrate a birthday party. While talking to some adults and children about the alligator, the employee opened the enclosure to feed the alligator but it clamped down on her arm and yanked her into its enclosure, thrashing her around.

Fortunately, one of the visitors, now identified as Donnie Wiseman, 48, jumped into the water and climbed on top of the reptile in an effort to free the handler from its jaws.

Shane Richins, the company's owner, said in an interview that the handler was opening the enclosure to feed the alligator as usual, but this time the reptile "got a little extra spunky."

Richins said the center normally has a strict policy for a second handler to be nearby when employees are working with the alligators.

However, that hasn't been enforced in recent years if the worker isn't planning to enter the enclosure, he said.

"We still enforce it strictly whenever somebody gets in with the gator but, of course, going forward, we will be back to strictly enforcing it with any interactions with the gator for that very reason," Richins said.

Wiseman, who saved the handler, told Gephardt Daily: "I'm just like, 'What do I do? What do I need to do?' And I got on him, just like in all the movies and documentaries I've seen."

Wiseman got the alligator pinned, and the handler calmly gave him and another man, Todd Christopher, instructions to help her escape from the pool.

Wiseman stayed on top of the reptile until the woman was freed.

He said: "I'm glad he wasn't any bigger. We would have been in trouble. I would say he was about seven feet. I'm 6'3', and he had me beat by a bit."

Todd Christopher's wife, who has a background in nursing, then began performing first aid before emergency crews arrived at the scene.

Richins said the handler underwent surgery and is taking antibiotics.

IPOB has denied reports by Simon Ekpa, a disciple of Nnamdi Kanu that the group is now on auto-pilot.

Ekpa
Ekpa

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has debunked reports that the group is now on auto-pilot following the arrest of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Recall that Finland-based acclaimed Simon Ekpa, after he was sacked as Radio Biafra broadcaster on July 28, had said the group was now on autopilot – a comment he posted on his social media platforms.

These were revealed in a statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary of the group, Emma Powerful, which was made available to SaharaReporters on Wednesday.

The post had read, “The Biafra struggle has entered the AUTOPILOT phase, a very dangerous phase that we have no control of what happens. To your tent oh Israel.

“I am Simon Ekpa, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s disciple on Biafra restoration. Changing the narrative of Yesterday.”

While reacting that some members of the group are disrespecting the leaders and insulting Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lead counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, Powerful stated, “We also wish to clarify that in IPOB we have nothing or nobody known as autopilot. Anybody going by such a title is not IPOB, and is flouting our rules. Anybody claiming to be such should immediately disengage before he is embarrassed.”

The statement further read, “That we can no longer tolerate the barrage of insults being rained on the lead counsel of the Indigenous people of Biafra Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor by some uninformed fellows and mischief-makers. IPOB is also disappointed that despite our earlier explanations on the rationale behind our decision to suspend the Ghost Monday Sit-At-Home order, some fellows are still disparaging our Directorate of State DoS over the decision.

“We, therefore, wish to advise all those playing the devil’s advocate to desist in their own interest and stop giving our enemies room to mock us. IPOB is a well-structured and organised movement with a clear-cut hierarchical structure as well. Henceforth, IPOB will no longer take lightly any act of insubordination from anybody or from any quarter irrespective of one's status.

“Going forward we will not condone insults on our hierarchy represented by the DOS or on our leader's lawyers. They have not taken any action inimical to the struggle to warrant the embarrassing and undeserved insults from some uninformed folks.

“All the decisions so far taken were in the best interest of the struggle and in accordance with direct directive from our Leader who is very impressed with the actions and solidarity so far implemented by the leadership since his incarceration.

“Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor remains IPOB's lead council and our leader's legal representative and our leader reposes strong confidence in his ability and capacity. As a trusted counsel, he has not betrayed or misrepresented his clients IPOB and Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. There is no reason therefore for anyone especially IPOB family members to reciprocate Ejiofor's sacrifices with insults.”

The deal was agreed upon following a request from the US government.

refugees

As Taliban militants claimed power in Afghanistan, Uganda has agreed to take in 2,000 refugees.

The deal was agreed following a request from the US government, Refugee Minister Esther Anyakun told the BBC.

The first group of 500 Afghans were expected to arrive on Tuesday, but officials now say discussions about the arrangements are still ongoing.

Uganda has a long history of welcoming refugees and is currently home to around 1.3 million people.

The East African nation has the largest number of refugees in any country in Africa and the third largest in the world.

The new Afghan arrivals will be tested for COVID-19 before they are sent to isolation centres, Ms Anyakun says.

The US is to cover these costs.

‘Yes, I can confirm the fire incident. But, I do not have much details of the incident. It’s an accident involving two vehicles. The two cars collided and fire ignited. A police officer was in one of the vehicles; he also died,’
 Omoni said.

Whitemoney, during his diary session on Wednesday, told Biggy that Pere seems to know him from outside the house.

Whitemoney, a Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate, has said that Pere’s hatred towards him started from outside the house.

Whitemoney, during his diary session on Wednesday, told Biggy that Pere seems to know him from outside the house.

According to him, he didn’t know Pere from anywhere until he came to the house.

He further noted that the hatred heightened after Pere figured out that he knew who the wildcards were.

“After the altercations I had with him the head of house called the both of us and Boma as the agitator to settle the issue.

“He gave his side of his story and apparently he has been holding this grudge for me from outside the house. Pere’s hatred for me started from outside the house even though I don’t know him.

“He even started saying something about the wildcard that someone who works with the BBN team told me like say Biggy na my neighbor for house.

“I was really upset with the way I was treated but the moment he said he wasn’t going to apologize to me all my anger melted down. It became obvious that this guy naturally had very bad behavior.

“However, I told him that he can only do this inside Biggy’s house because if it were to be outside, I won’t be the one fighting him a lot of people will treat his fuck up,”
 he said.

Fortunately, when police found the newborn in Moscow earlier this month, she was still alive.

In the CCTV footage, the woman is seen walking to the bin and placing a bag inside before hurrying away and looking around so to check if she is being watched.

It is unclear who called the police, but officers arrived on the scene soon afterwards and found the baby girl wrapped in a jacket inside a plastic bag.

The baby, still alive, was sent to a medical centre to be checked by doctors and currently remains in their care in a stable condition, according to reports.

The police tracked down the suspected mother and placed her under arrest for the attempted murder of a newborn child.

Yulia Ivanova, assistant head of the Moscow State Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, confirmed that the suspect has been stripped of any parental rights and remains in custody as the investigation continues.

The child, who according to the agency is no older than seven months, is now waiting to be united with parents with the help of authorities issuing missing announcements on social media.

A seven-month-old baby who was separated from parents during chaos at Kabul airport has been found.

The photograph, which was posted by the Aśvaka news agency on Twitter, shows an infant who was reportedly separated from parents.

The child, who according to the agency is no older than seven months, is now waiting to be united with parents with the help of authorities issuing missing announcements on social media.

With the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, the scramble of panicked and desperate residents to leave the country has triggered a major refugee crisis.

The management said Pere is the most misjudged and misrepresented character in the house because of the audacity of his personality.

Pere

Pere

The social media handler of Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere has addressed the event of last night, stating that Pere only confronted Whitemoney but did not bully him.

Recall that Whitemoney and Pere had an altercation on Monday night after the latter confronted Whitemoney and demanded to know what he told Angel during a game.

As though ready for a fight, Pere inclined towards Whitemoney, pulled his belt and repeatedly asked to know what was said about him.

Other housemates told Whitemoney not to speak further but the matter got worse due to Pere’s insistence and Whitemoney flared up which led to a serious argument between both parties.

Pere’s behaviour has since been condemned by viewers as well as housemates who demanded that Biggie issues him a strike for ‘bullying’ Whitemoney.

Reacting to the backlash, Pere’s team in a statement posted on his official Instagram page said his behaviour to Whitemoney was in no way an act of bullying.

The management said Pere is the most misjudged and misrepresented character in the house because of the audacity of his personality.

They urged viewers not to take sides and push a convenient narrative.

The statement read: “The events of the last 24hours has stirred up mixed reactions with a number of people expressing their displeasures and dislikes. Bullying of any form for whatever reason is unacceptable and we do not condone or support it. We however want to use this medium to express that whiles Pere’s actions were somewhat uncomfortable to watch, it was in no way an act of bullying.

“He is undoubtedly the most misjudged and misrepresented character owing to the complexities and audacity of his personality. He is neither afraid to make a mistake, fall or be misjudged. He wears an overwhelming air of confidence that can easily be misinterpreted.

“We must be careful not to swap confrontation for bullying just to play into a convenient narrative. Was this confrontation necessary? Yes Was it Bullying? no.”

The winner of BBNaija 2020 (Lockdown Edition) recently performed for the Recording Academy (Grammy) Press Play at Home programme and has also been having well attended shows in different parts of the country.

In an interview with Accelerate TV, the ‘Fall for me’ rapper stated that he had always known he would be successful.

He said, “I have always known I would be successful. When I say ‘successful’, I want you to know that people have different metrics for measuring success. My own idea of success would probably be different from that of someone else. The yardstick that a lot of people use to measure success is different from what I use. The bottom line is that I never had doubts about my success.”

The rapper also noted that he stayed home for three years in order to gain admission into the University of Lagos.

He added, “I stayed home for three years and I was getting admission offers into other schools but I wanted UNILAG, because I felt it would help me as an artiste. I believed I would be exposed to more growth as an artiste there.”

David Ibiyeomie

David Ibiyeomie

David Ibiyeomie, a popular Nigerian clergyman, has cautioned people to be careful of what they post on social media.

The Rivers state-based clergyman while preaching in his church recently, said social media depicts the true identity of a person., According to him, when an unmarried woman goes to a party in Transcorp and shares the photos online, no responsible man will marry her.

In his words: ''Social media depicts your true identity. When every Saturday you go to a party, you show, no responsible married man will marry you. Social media is the first thing to show who you are.

Mind what you put on social media You forget that if you snap in Transcorp, everybody has gone there. You are not married, so who took you to Transcorp? You don't have wisodm. You snap in a jet, who carried you into a jet?

Be careful with what you put on social media. Once you snap in Transcorp, you snap in Dubai, they would begin to ask, how did you get there? So the man who wants to marry you will withdraw.

Please be very careful. Social media shows your true identity. Mind what you put there''

He also added that international companies now check the social media handles of prospective employees before they offer employment.

Sammie said this on Saturday, day 21 of the show, as some of the male housemates discussed about Saskay.

BBNaija

Sammie, a Big Brother Naija housemate, has advised Jaypaul to act fast in winning Saskay’s heart.

Sammie said this on Saturday, day 21 of the show, as some of the male housemates discussed about Saskay.

The guys, which includes Michael, Whitemoney, and Kayvee, told Jaypaul to quickly ‘shoot his shot’ on Saskay as they speculated that she’ll be one of the top three in the show.

Michael said he’s certain that Saskay will be among the top three because of her looks and intelligence.

In contribution, Sammie told Jaypaul, “You know you’re my guy. So act fast.”

However Whitemoney said Saskay has the final say if she wants to have any relationship with Jaypaul but Sammie said that it doesn’t matter, as he kept telling Jaypaul to “act fast”.

While the guys sang Saskay’s praises, Whitemoney also agreed that the female artist is very talented.
Michael appeared to be the lead praise singer as he went on to describe Saskay’s dancing skills, her talent, and her looks.

Sammie also contributed and described Saskay as “dark skin ebony.”

During their discussion, Saskay walked into the garden to hang her clothes and the guys hailed her with cheers.
Saskay-Jaypaul ‘situationship’

During a Truth or Dare game, Jaypaul confessed to having feelings for Saskay and that’s same night, Yousef did same.

According to Saskay, the revelation from both of them made her feel uncomfortable.

However, she later started sharing the same bed with Jaypaul though she claimed to be celibate.

This made Yousef jealous and he confronted her about it. However, Saskay accused Yousef of emotional blackmail during the confrontation.

Ms. Ibrahim was murdered in August 2019 at her Point-Of-Sale shop located in the Oke Ogba area of Akure South.

Armed robbers

The suspects

Four members of an armed robbery gang that robbed and killed six persons including two PoS operators and two Filling Station attendants in Akure, the Ondo state capital, have been paraded by the Ondo State Police Commmand.

The leader of the gang, Banjo Adu, 24, in an interview with newsmen on Thursday, said he killed the female PoS operator, Miss Adetutu Nofisat Ibrahim because the 28-year-old staff of First Bank refused to hand over her money on time.

Ms. Ibrahim was murdered in August 2019 at her Point-Of-Sale shop located in the Oke Ogba area of Akure South.

"When my gang members and I got to the PoS shop of late Miss Adetutu, she refused to give us money on time and I put the trigger on her and I killed her after which we made away with her money," he said.

Three other suspects arrested by police detectives include Deji Ajayi, Babajide Adewole and Dare Adeoye.

The PoS operator

The suspects had also in January 2020 stormed Owe-Akala area of Oke-Aro, Akure and also robbed a POS shop belonging to one Solomon Ehingbe.

Solomon was shot dead while the hoodlums later raided a restaurant located around NEPA area of Akure from where they carted away the sum of N1,200,000 cash, being proceeds from the sales of the day and also carted away handsets of customers who were at the scene.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr Bolaji Salami, said the robbers also killed two fuel attendants and stole N150,000.

Adu also confessed to killing Ehingbe because he delayed in bringing out the cash when they arrived at his shop.

"We went round to other places like Obioma restaurant and robbed her of N150,000. We also proceeded to Rano Filling Station and robbed them of their money. We were arrested through a CCTV Camera that was placed in one of the places we robbed. We never knew there was camera installed. As we left the place, we got to a PoS operator who did not give us money on time." he added.

CP Salami said the suspects have made confessional statements and would soon be charged to court.

It will be recalled that Jay Paul had revealed he was supposed to be among ‘Lockdown’ housemates.

JayPaul

Prince and Dorathy, two Big Brother Naija ex-housemates, have revealed why ‘Shineyaeye’ housemate, Jaypaul was turned back 45 minutes from joining last year’s lockdown edition.

Recall that Jay Paul had revealed he was supposed to be among ‘Lockdown’ housemates.

Speaking to the ‘Shine ya eye housemate, the Cross River born had said he was turned back 45mins from climbing the stage.

The housemate, who did not reveal details of the incident, said he was sure his bags had entered the house but found himself going back to the hotel.

He added that it was a tough time for him but his family helped him pull through.

However, Prince and Dorathy in a live video with Kiddwaya on Instagram on Friday revealed that Jaypaul was turned back because he had the deadly COVID-19 disease.

Prince said Jaypaul was replaced by the ‘lockdown housemate, Trickytee.

Dorathy said, “Jaypaul is the guy that was turned back few minutes to the live show. I think the reason was because he had COVID-19.

Prince added, “Yeah, he was replaced with Trickytee.”

Shocked by the revelation, Kiddwaya wondered if the ‘lockdown’ housemates would have all been infected with the disease if it was not detected before the show began.

Speaking from a personal view, Angel shared the travails her mother had to go through as a result of teenage pregnancy.

Angel

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, has revealed that her mother tried to abort her as an unborn child.

She made this known on Thursday during a team presentation of an artwork that depicts being “unbeatable”.

Speaking from a personal view, Angel shared the travails her mother had to go through as a result of teenage pregnancy.

Angel said, “As some people know, my mum had me when she was pretty young, when she was 16 years old and about to go into college.

“When she got pregnant for me, she thought she could handle it. I mean, it’s just a baby right? She was happy. Thus the yellow here at the beginning of the artwork.”

Angel continued, “She was happy to have me regardless of the age. She tells my granny, ‘oh mummy I’m pregnant’ but my granny goes ‘what will people say? You’re a woman, a young woman. You should be in college. You should be entering university like your mate, why would you want to keep a baby?’
“So my granny tells her, ‘you’re going to get an abortion.’ That’s what she said.

“My mum decided to go for the abortion but unfortunately, I remained. So now she’s thinking about the different things that’s going to happen.

“During that process, there was a lot of slut-shaming. ‘You’re 16 years and you’re pregnant’, which is what most women go through. There was a lot of hurdles that she had to face.”

At this point of her narration, her teammate, Saga, was already in tears.

She ended her presentation by stating that her mother pushed through hurdles and her being in BBNaija at 21 years is a sign that her mother did something right.

Her presentation made the housemates emotional and they all came to her with hugs and few had tears welling up their eyes.

The toddler who had picked a gun that had been left unsecured in the home accidentally shot his mother.

Shamaya

Shamaya Lynn

A 21-year-old mother was accidentally shot to death by her toddler who picked up a loaded gun.

Shamaya Lynn, 21, from Florida, was taking part in the conference call on Wednesday, August 11, when the other participants heard a huge bang and the mum fell backwards.

Those on the Zoom call then saw a toddler in the background who had picked a gun that had been left "unsecured" in the home, said Altamonte Springs Police.

When Lynn failed to get back onto the call, one of her colleagues taking part in the call called emergency services and the mum’s body was found with a shot to the head.

"Investigators determined that the injury was caused by a toddler who found a loaded handgun, which was left unsecured by an adult in the apartment," a police statement reportedly said.

Florida TV channel WESH reported that Lynn was the mother of the child and the gun belonged to the dad.

Officer Roberto Ruiz, Jr warned in a TV clip: "To anyone and everyone tuning into this story if you own a firearm please keep it locked and secured.

"Incidents like this can be avoided."

The couple also have another child and both are in the care of relatives, said WESH.

Police are continuing to investigate the case and are consulting with the Seminole County State Attorney’s Office over whether the father, the gun owner, should face charges.

According to Kayvee, he doesn’t see Angel as his type of girl because he feels that she is being strategic in her conversations with her.

 Kayvee

Kayvee and Angel

Kayvee, a Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, has revealed that Angel is not his type because he doesn’t find her attractive, during a Diary session on Friday, day 20 of the show.

According to Kayvee, he doesn’t see Angel as his type of girl because he feels that she is being strategic in her conversations with her.

Kayvee said, “Angel fancies guys going all out and going after her all the time because she is attractive.

“To me, I don’t find her attractive because she’s not my type of girl. Maria is my type of girl. Angel and Maria are the people I fancy but they are intertwined.

“If I had had like Maria’s body and Angel’s spirit in one person, I might go all out for the person. I might not even go all out, I’ll fancy her but maybe outside the house.

“I don’t like girls that want to use me to catch cruise because I am the cruise master. If you want to catch cruise with me, I can also catch cruise with you at the end of the day.”

Kayvee in Angel’s ship

One of the latest housemates in the Shine Ya Eye season, Kayvee has been closely associated with Angel from his very first day on the show.

The Sunday night he came into the show, Kayvee shared a kiss with Angel, an act that led to a nasty fight between Angel and her love interest in the house, Sammie.

Following the quarrel, it appears that the “Samgel ship” has sunk as Sammie and Angel were no more in talking terms and Angel appeared to hang out more with Kayvee.
