WAWU! Kwara United Coach Reportedly Slapped Katsina United’s Coach After Their NPFL Clash (Photos)
Things turned nasty in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) as Kwara United head coach, Maji Mohammed reportedly landed his counterpart, Katsina United’s team manager Abdulahi Biffo a resounding slap after their weekend game. According to a Facebook user, Niyi Busari, who shared an eyewitness report, it was reported that trouble started when Kwara United defender handed the ball in his own 18-yard box, but the referee pointed to the corner flag that it was corner-kick. He said the Katsina Utd captain complained that it was a penalty and not a corner kick, but the referee failed to overturn his decision. However, after the final whistle in the game which ended 2 – 1 in favour of the Kwara United team, the Katsina coach Abdulahi Biffo was said to have rushed to the field to order his players into the dressing room in other to maintain their calm. But it became messier as fight ensued between the two coaches, and Katsina coach Abdulahi Biffo was landed a slap by counterpart during the clash.
